Georgia now has 12 meaderies, with several wineries also producing meads. Long-established Savannah Bee Company has a line of meads that are made by award-winning meaderies located out of state.
In addition, some wineries are developing adding meads to their offerings. So this is another fermented product that enthusiasts will want to keep in their focus going forward.
